About

BRIT Kids National Lead Welcome

BRIT Kids was set up by The BRIT School to offer Performing and Creative Arts classes to the local community on a Saturday. BRIT Kids is a place for children to explore their creativity, to challenge what they think the performing arts and creative arts can give them. However, for me, the most important part of BRIT Kids is the community feel on a Saturday. It is through this energy and creativity that the children find a way to build confidence, make new friends and gain a feeling that they belong to something really rather special.

BRIT kids is a Saturday school with a difference. We are deeply rooted in creativity and are known for taking risks and tacking subjects that challenge the children.  We are aware that for some children are tired at the end of the week and we are grateful that they have come in to be with us- we don’t care if they have a hoodie or hat on!

‘……Thanks from me too. It takes something special to get teenagers out of bed on a Saturday morning - and BRIT Kids is that special.’

BRIT kids is a gentle balance of fun, creativity and community. As we sit under the framework of schools our knowledge and experience with AEN children, LAC and children with social issues is current and informed. This really is a centre for the Creative and Performing Arts rather than Saturday classes and all profits go back to The BRIT School and the partnership school

I am very excited to have joined forces with Canterbury College and for this new adventure to start in October 2021.
