BRIT Kids is a weekend school for Creative, Media and Performing Arts by the BRIT School, on Saturdays. For young people aged 8 to 18 years interested in acting, singing, drama, dance with creative arts including fashion, photography, art and radio, media and music production.
BRIT Kids is a safe place for children to explore their creativity and learn new skills often challenging what perceptions of what performing arts can do for them. Our weekend classes allow young people to explore our core values of Creativity, Challenge and Community, and many find new friendship groups, build their confidence and explore their talents.
How do we teach at BRIT Kids?
BRIT Kids does not run to a set curriculum. Teachers write new Schemes of Work inspired by their artistic interests encouraging creative freedom for the young people.
Our community approach means we have industry professionals and pastoral support staff across all our sites leading with care.

And also how delighted and touched with the training and encouragement my daughter receives from the staff at Brit Kids.
She is dyslexic and is just starting to build up her confidence. In mainstream schools, she would never have been given such a prominent role and her abilities would never have been explored/exposed. I am so pleased that she was given the opportunity here and she performed so so well.
She said after the initial stage fright, she felt confident and drew energy from the audience. What topped it all was when other parents and children praised and complimented her performance. I am so grateful for the support you have given to my daughter.

‘I am writing to say that today we watched the amazing play that Daniel produced and directed.
My Mother, Son and myself believe the message was so well delivered and was acted out by very talented Children. We thoroughly enjoyed watching this performance and know that both Daniel, the Dance Teacher and the singing Teacher collaborated very well along side the Children's dedication and commitment to an end result of an Excellent performance.
The knife crime subject is very real, happening daily and in our Country's life at present. This was projected very articulately within drama, dance and music. If only this could be acted out and shown to other Children that live within the communities that are fighting against knife crime, I believe the message would go across to these young people.
